Job Description:

Position: Commercial Manager

Location: Kaduna

Salary: 3,000 USD per month

Reports to: Managing Director RHPL, CFO Head Office (Dotted Line)

Qualification: Commerce/Finance Graduate, MBA will be an advantage

Experience: At least 10 years in Finance and commercial activities.

Nigeria/Africa & plastic industry experience is desirable/advantage

Job Description:

Role: This is a senior level position, one of the key manager in the factory, not only managing his/her departments but also the eyes and ears of the management. He/she will be Heading Accounts and Finance departments, Key Account management and overlooking of Stores/WH Logistics

Collaborate with and participate in all key operations team meetings related to the plant specially Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Maintenance and Marketing/Sales with a focus on understanding the impact of operational changes on financial forecasts and budgets.

As head of Finance and Accounts, he/she will be heading the Finance department and will be responsible for keeping Finances and accounts of the company and ensure protection and authorized uses of financial resources of the company.

• Management Reports (P&L Statements, B/S, Expenses Analysis, Etc.)
• Stock Taking & Variance Report
• Consumption Variance Report
• Insurance Renewals, Additions to Fixed Assets Compliance & Follow-up
• Entries in Tally inclu. Month End Journals & Provisions
• Bank & Cash Reconciliations (Reco on Daily basis)
• Debtors Analysis
• Creditors Analysis (inclu. Overseas Creditors)
• Managing & Maintenance of Ledgers for Corporate Customers with Reconciliation

(NBL, SBC, Nestle & OVH)

• Annual Statutory Audit Exercises inclu. follow-up with Filing of Returns under FIRS & CAC
• Statutory Compliances like VAT Returns, Paye, WH Tax, Pension Fund & Others (inclu. Handling Tax Audits under FIRS, KADIRS, Etc.)
• MAN, NAFDAC & Son Compliances
• ITF Obligations
• PENCOM Obligations
• Costing
• Cash Flow Statement / Forecasting / Comparisons
• Budget / Forecasting / Planning / Comparison
• Capex Proposal / Capital Allowance / Fixed Assets
• Salaries overview

Key Account management – Vendors and Customers

• Reconciliation of Raw Material
• Reconfirming cost and Reconciliation of LPO’s
• Reconciliation of Payments

Oversight of Stores Warehouse/Logistics Manager, has a wide variety of responsibilities,

some of general duties involved in the process include:

• Manage warehouse inventory and keep records of the inventory.
• Select carriers for transportation and negotiate rates and contracts with carriers.
• Respond to and resolve complaints and problems.
• Keep up-to-date on shipping carriers, routes and rates and any changes to them.
• Monitor and manage budgets.
