Position: Machining Shop Skilled Operator HBM

Location: Jubail, Saudi Arabia

Experience: Minimum of 7 years’ experience in operation of CNC machine tools.

Salary: 3,500 - 5,000 SAR

Working Hrs.: 8 hrs./ 6 days a week.

Job Purpose:

Perform high grade machining operating according to the manufacturing documents (drawing, work instructions, specification and CNC Program)

A skilled worker is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machine tools to manufacture products from casting & forging materials. This role involves interpreting technical drawings and blueprints, ensuring the accuracy of machine operations, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operating CNC machines to perform various machining tasks.
• Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading drawing and related manufacturing drawings etc.
• Prepare and load workpiece and setup onto the machine tools.
• Prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications.
• Set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate large number of parts.
• Supervise the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
• Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.
• Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or higher
• CNC machine tools operators for Horizontal Boring Machine.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in operation of CNC machine tools.
• Operating with one of the CNC controllers (FANUC, SIEMENS and etc.)
• Operating with 2 axis, 3 axis and 5 axis machine tools.
• Operating experience of heavy-duty machine tools
• Be able to install attachments and using them skillfully.
• Understand / review machining manufacturing drawings & technical specifications.
• General machine tools and machining technical understanding, knowledge of tooling and measuring instruments.
• Interpret CNC programs as required on the job. Creating & editing manual programs. (Manual Data Input G&M codes)
• Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measuring instruments.
• Use measuring tools and gauges to ensure quality of products that required general and precision tolerances.
• Capable of working own initiative.
• Perform self-prevention and regular consumable change work on CNC machine tools.
• Train new employees on how to properly operate CNC machine tools.
• Previous experience with similar oil & gas field parts if preferred, but not essential.
