Job Description:

 

  • Business Development and Growth:

    • Develop and implement strategies to achieve business targets across all branches in the zone.
    • Monitor branch performance and ensure the achievement of key financial metrics such as profitability, loan and deposit growth, cross-selling of products, and fee income.
    • Drive branch banking sales initiatives and ensure alignment with overall bank goals.
    • Identify market opportunities and oversee the development of new business segments.
  • Branch Operations and Management:

    • Ensure operational efficiency and adherence to banking policies, procedures, and compliance norms.
    • Regularly review and monitor operational performance of the branches.
    • Ensure cost optimization while maintaining service quality and customer satisfaction.
    • Monitor the service levels of branches, ensuring timely resolution of customer issues.
  • Team Leadership and Management:

    • Lead, mentor, and manage the branch managers and other key branch personnel.
    • Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular reviews, and provide necessary coaching for improving productivity.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, customer-centricity, and teamwork.
    • Identify and develop talent within the team for future leadership roles.
  • Risk Management and Compliance:

    • Ensure branches adhere to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management guidelines.
    • Regularly review risk parameters such as credit risk, operational risk, and market risk across the zone.
    • Take corrective actions to mitigate any risks or discrepancies.
  • Customer Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
    • Champion initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Ensure a high level of customer service across all branches within the zone.
  • Reporting and MIS:

    • Provide regular performance updates and reports to the senior management team.
    • Use data-driven insights to support decision-making and strategy formulation.
