Job Description:

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets for OTC products within the assigned region.
  • Lead and motivate a sales team to ensure high performance and productivity.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with chemist chains, distributors, and other key stakeholders in the market.
  • Drive product awareness and visibility through effective marketing strategies and promotional activities.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Manage the Profit and Loss (P&L) for the region, ensuring profitability targets are met.
  • Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts and reports using Management Information Systems (MIS).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, supply chain, and finance to ensure alignment of sales objectives.
  • Stay updated with industry developments, regulations, and market dynamics related to OTC/Nutraceutical products.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote brand visibility and networking opportunities.

 

Requirements: 

  • Minimum 5 +years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a Ayurvedic/Nutraceuticals company.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the OTC/Nutraceutical industry.
  • Experience in leading and managing a sales team effectively.
  • Strong understanding of Profit and Loss management principles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Management Information Systems (MIS).
  • Well-versed with the market and established networks with chemist chains and distributors.
  • Previous experience working in top Nutraceutical/Ayurvedic companies is highly preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction.
