Job Description:
We have urgent opening for Sourcing & Development Profile.
Qualifications:
1. Educational Background: A bachelor's or master's degree in textile engineering, textile technology, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
2. Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the textile industry, including knowledge of fibres, fabrics, dyeing and finishing processes, and manufacturing techniques.
3. Supply Chain Expertise: Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices, including sourcing, procurement and inventory management.
4. Market Research Skills: Ability to conduct market research to identify potential suppliers.
5. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively negotiate with suppliers, collaborate with internal teams, and communicate developments to stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Sourcing: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on cost, quality, and reliability. Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to ensure favourable agreements for the company. Continuously monitor and assess supplier performance to maintain high standards. 2. Product Development: Collaborate with production teams to understand product requirements and specifications. Work with suppliers to develop new fabrics, finishes, and technologies that meet quality standards and market demands.
- 3. Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about and ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and ethical sourcing practices. 4. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, reduce costs, and enhance product quality
