A Junior Officer in Stores is responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
- Store operations: Receiving, dispensing, and dispatching materials
- Safety: Ensuring a safe and clean working environment by following rules, regulations, and safety norms
- Documentation: Maintaining online documentation and areas as per regulatory requirements
- Scrap disposal: Periodically disposing of scrap to ensure smooth store operations
- Coordination: Coordinating with purchase and user departments to ensure materials are positioned on time
Some other responsibilities of a store officer include:
- Maintaining inventories
- Ordering new items
- Placing products on shelves
- Removing expired items
- Keeping records of transferred merchandise
- Performing routine store maintenance tasks
- Ensuring accurate recording of stock levels
- Coordinating with other departments to resolve issues
Taking care of entire RM , PM store operation material handling, record maintaining, stock checking
