Job Description:

Role Summary:
The FinOps Manager will lead a team responsible for the end-to-end reconciliation process for easy loans (EDI), ensuring accurate daily and monthly reporting to lenders (NBFCs). This role involves managing data reconciliation, working with cross-functional teams to enhance process efficiency, and providing key operational insights to senior leadership. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in financial reconciliation, stakeholder management, and process optimization, with a focus on financial operations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Team Management & Operations:
Lead a team for EDI reconciliation.
Oversee the preparation and delivery of daily reconciliation summaries and weekly/monthly updates to lenders (NBFCs).
Ensure accurate data retrieval from Metabase using SQL for repayment, DPD, and disbursement data, and reconcile it with Digio, Cashfree, Payout, and lender reports.
Engage in regular calls with lenders, maintaining strong working relationships and resolving issues.
Implement regular meetings with FinOps, Product, Tech, and Business teams to drive alignment and process improvements.
Functional / Domain Expertise:
Understand and manage partner commercials and the cost structures associated with end-to-end operations for each partnership.
Articulate reconciliation and accounting requirements to product and technology teams, ensuring proper system updates.
Take appropriate actions and work with respective teams to resolve unreconciled transactions and improve reconciliation processes.
Analytical & Process Improvement:
Identify areas of inefficiency in daily operations and collaborate with Product and Tech teams to automate and optimize processes.
Assist senior leadership in gathering and evaluating MIS data to support ongoing performance analysis and decision-making.
Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with finance teams to share data and facilitate invoicing based on commercial arrangements.
Track and monitor key metrics, including projected vs. actual volumes, IRR, number of loans, underlying portfolio classes, and consumer profiles.
Work closely with product teams to integrate systems with banks, payment gateways, and other data sources to ensure accurate reconciliation.
Process disbursal requests, reconcile repayment data, update systems, and raise demands for NPA settlements.

Qualifications & Experience:
Education: CA / BBA / MBA (Finance) / CFA; Graduate or Postgraduate.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in Financial Services, NBFC, Banking, or related industries, with hands-on experience in similar FinOps roles.

Skills & Knowhow:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to problem-solve and resolve issues.
Deadline-driven, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
Deep understanding of process documentation and improvement.
Experience working in high-velocity, ambiguous environments.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize, organize, and multitask effectively.
Comfortable operating with minimal supervision while pursuing operational efficiency.
