Job Description:
- Assessing consumer demand and market trends to determine which products to stock and display
- Collaborating with buyers and product managers to select and purchase products for the store
- Developing and implementing visually appealing and effective in-store displays and product presentations
- Monitoring sales and adjusting product placement, pricing, and display strategies as needed
- Communicating with store managers and other staff members to ensure merchandise is well-stocked and displayed properly
- Staying up-to-date on industry trends and innovations, and suggesting new merchandise and display ideas to management
- Negotiating with suppliers to secure favorable terms, such as discounts and extended payment terms.
- The ideal candidate for a merchandiser role should have strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, as well as a keen eye for design and a deep understanding of consumer behavior and market trends.
- Candidates should have good communication skills with good knowledge of production
