Job Description:

Position:        Lab Chemist - QA

Location:       Daman

Experience:    2 - 3 Years

Industries:     Plastic

 Responsibilities:

  • Laboratory Testing:
    • Conduct thorough testing of plastic raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods according to established protocols and standards.
    • Perform a range of tests including but not limited to tensile strength, impact resistance, density, melt flow index, and dimensional stability.
  • Quality Control:
    • Monitor and enforce quality control measures to ensure all testing procedures are conducted accurately and consistently.
    • Identify, document, and report any deviations from quality standards, initiating corrective and preventive actions as needed.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping:
    • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all testing activities, results, and observations.
    • Generate comprehensive test reports, ensuring clarity, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Equipment Maintenance:
    • Ensure the proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment used in testing activities.
    • Report any equipment malfunctions promptly and coordinate with relevant personnel for resolution.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting enhancements to testing procedures, equipment, and overall quality management systems.
  • Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, R&D, and Quality Control, to address quality-related concerns and drive effective solutions.
  • Compliance:
    • Stay abreast of industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to plastic materials and products.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant quality and safety standards

Required Qualification: - Diploma/B.Sc/M.Sc - Chemistry / CIPET

Salary :- Upto 3.12 LPA
