Job Description:
- Sample production: Coordinating the production of samples, including interpreting sketches from designers and buyers' requirements
- Sample making standards: Devising standards for making samples and recommending the machinery and attachments to use
- Liaison: Acting as a liaison between vendors, buyers, and the internal team to communicate the status of samples
- Sample tracking: Maintaining a tracking system for samples
- Sample organization: Organizing and cataloging new samples
- Sample branding: Determining if the samples fit with the company's branding strategy
- Sample photography: Using models to photograph samples before forwarding them to buyers
- Sample delivery: Arranging the delivery and shipping of samples
- Sample approval: Assisting in managing the sample approval process, including fit sessions
- Sample corrections: Ensuring that all corrections and comments from the buyer are incorporated before handing over the sample to the next department
- Sample inventory: Managing the inventory of samples through a system of checking in and checking out
