Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QC Welding Inspector to join our team in the Oil & Gas industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding inspection and hold Aramco approval.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform welding inspections in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and codes related to welding.
- Ensure compliance with Aramco standards and other relevant regulations.
- Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) and document results accurately.
- Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to address quality issues.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain documentation for quality assurance.
- Provide guidance and training to junior inspectors and welding personnel.
- Participate in quality audits and inspections as required.
Qualifications:
- Education: Engineering degree (Bachelor's or equivalent).
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years in welding inspection within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Certifications: Valid Aramco approval is a must; additional welding inspection certifications (e.g., CSWIP, AWS) are preferred.
- Strong understanding of welding processes, techniques, and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
