Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage mechanical/electrical engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have prior project management experience in the mechanical or electrical engineering field, with strong technical knowledge and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. This role requires hands-on project coordination, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination:
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in alignment with client specifications and organizational goals.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure accurate resource allocation and task assignment.

Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Facilitate regular project meetings to provide status updates, discuss issues, and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders regarding project milestones, changes, and deliverables.

Technical Oversight:
- Provide technical expertise in mechanical/electrical aspects of the project.
- Review and validate project designs, specifications, and plans to ensure they meet industry standards.
- Resolve any technical issues that arise during project execution.

Risk Management and Problem Solving:
- Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Address project challenges, troubleshoot issues, and adapt plans to ensure successful project completion.

Budget and Resource Management:
- Oversee project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial goals and reporting on any variances.
- Manage project resources, including labor and materials, to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Ensure all project work is compliant with relevant safety, quality, and industry standards.
- Conduct regular quality checks and audits throughout the project lifecycle.

Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including timelines, progress reports, and post-project analyses.
- Document lessons learned and recommend improvements to project management processes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. PMP certification is a plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of project management experience, preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Proven experience managing projects from initiation to completion with successful outcomes.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in project management and Autocad
- Strong understanding of mechanical and/or electrical engineering principles.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Adaptability and flexibility to respond to project challenges and changes.
