Job Description:

Indie Tours is seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Travel Operations Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the daily operations of our travel services, ensuring seamless travel experiences for our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of the travel industry, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Itinerary Planning: Design and customize travel itineraries for clients based on their preferences and budget.
  • Booking and Reservations: Manage and coordinate all aspects of travel bookings, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities.
  • Client Support: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and offering travel advice.
  • Supplier Coordination: Communicate and negotiate with travel suppliers (hotels, tour operators, transport services) to secure the best deals and ensure service quality.
  • Documentation: Prepare and organize travel-related documents such as tickets, vouchers, and travel insurance.
  • Budget Management: Ensure that all travel arrangements stay within the client's budget while maintaining high service standards.
  • Quality Control: Monitor the quality of travel services provided and gather client feedback to improve future services.
  • Travel Compliance: Ensure that all travel arrangements comply with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Market Research: Stay updated with the latest travel trends, destinations, and industry news to provide informed recommendations to clients.
  • Crisis Management: Handle any travel-related emergencies or disruptions efficiently, providing quick solutions and support to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in travel operations or a related field.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Proficiency in travel booking software and tools.
    • Customer-focused with a high level of attention to detail.
    • Ability to work under pressure and handle unexpected situations calmly.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of global travel destinations, visa requirements, and travel regulations.
  • Language: Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
