Job Summary:
To provide exceptional food and beverage service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience. Deliver high-quality service, maintain a clean and organized environment, and contribute to the overall success of the food and beverage team.
Key Responsibilities:
Service:
  • Greet and serve guests promptly, taking orders and delivering food and beverages efficiently.
  • Provide menu knowledge and recommendations to guests.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
  • Upsell and suggest specials, promotions, and loyalty programs.
Operations:
  • Set up and maintain dining areas, including tables, chairs, linens, and glassware.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of service areas, including side stations and storage.
  • Restock supplies, condiments, and utensils.
  • Assist with food plating, garnishing, and presentation.
  • Maintain inventory and report any discrepancies.
Guest Interaction:
  • Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.
  • Handle guest requests, allergies, and dietary restrictions.
  • Provide information on menus, promotions, and events.
  • Develop relationships with regular guests.
Teamwork:
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery.
  • Support colleagues during peak periods.
  • Participate in pre-shift meetings and training sessions.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive and respectful team environment.
Safety and Security:
  • Follow health and safety protocols, including food handling and sanitation.
  • Report accidents, incidents, or near-misses.
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest information.
Administrative:
  • Process transactions accurately, handling cash, credit card payments, and room charges.
  • Maintain records of sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
