Key Responsibilities

Patient Interaction
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist patients with the registration process and direct them to appropriate departments.
- Answer queries regarding hospital services, procedures, and facilities.

Appointment Management
- Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely patient flow.
- Maintain accurate appointment records using hospital management software.

Administrative Duties
- Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries efficiently.
- Update and maintain patient information in the database.
- Manage patient admission and discharge paperwork.

Billing and Payments
- Process payments and provide receipts to patients.
- Address billing queries and direct patients to the finance department if needed.

Operational Support
- Coordinate with departments like labs, pharmacy, and radiology for patient services.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with informational materials.

Emergency Handling
- Assist in managing emergency situations by notifying the appropriate medical staff.
- Ensure that patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.
Key Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in hospital management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred)
