Job Responsibilities / Skills

• As a Production and Operations Management professional with a focus on improving operational efficiency, safety and legal compliance and team leadership.

• A multi-skilled professional with experience in Production Management, Production Process Improvement, Quality Assurance & Quality Control and People Management.

• Responsible for directing and overseeing the whole organization's overall production operations, including shop floor management, people distribution, aiming to deliver the right product to the customer on the right time and with the right quality. Develop and execute strategic plans to improve cost, productivity, quality and efficiency of the manufacturing operations. Create functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develop budgets/policies/procedures.

• Expertise in handling the entire production operations with a key focus on top-line & bottom-line profitability by ensuring optimal utilisation of resources.

• Adapt in managing production activities involving resource planning, in-process inspection and coordination with internal/external departments for timely delivery of finished products.

• Expertise in streamlining processes/procedures to facilitate robust Quality Management Systems; adapt in developing a framework of quality standards, procedures & systems.

• Developing and implementing strategies for new lines/equipment commissioning for new projects and/or to increase capacity planning.

• Rich experience of setting objectives and KPIs targeting profitability to the business and considering segregation of duties.

• An effective communicator with excellent relationship management skills and strong analytical, problem-solving & organisational abilities.

• Responsible for production planning and control for the whole organisation, considering all department requirements (Trial, maintenance, quality test, safety audits) with the ultimate goal to deliver on time to the customer.

• Ability to analyse data/trends to develop and maintain departmental strategies to meet organization objectives.

• An effective communicator with excellent relationship, management skills and strong analytical and organizational abilities successfully handling a team of 80 to 100 people.

• Sound knowledge of Control plan/Kaizen/5S & Safety.

• Able to Define System/Process, Budgeting and Team Management.

• Production Shop Floor Management and Lean Manufacturing.

• Quality Assurance and Control.

• Supply Chain Role.
