Job Description:
Position: Dy. Manager - Environment
Location: Jhagadia
Experience: 4 - 10 Years
Industries: Chemical
Responsibilities:
- Study Environmental Regulatory requirements and conduct GAP assessment with respect to existing practices. Prepared GAP closing plan for to fulfill requirements.
- Timely submission (online & physical) of monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual returns with respect to Environmental requirements at XGN
- Prepare, review, submit and maintain documents pertaining to Obtain / renew / amend applicable statutory Consents / Licenses / Permits / Registration required as per Environmental requirements.
- Liaison with respective Government agencies as and when required.
- Periodic review with regards to change in regulations with reference to Environmental requirements to update management and co-ordinate for its timely compliance.
- Periodical monitor and review of records Operations of ETP, STP, MEE, Laboratory and Hazardous Waste Area.
- Prepare, review and maintain Environment Documents (SOPs, CCF, TNI, Document issuance and retrieval etc.) pertaining to EHS Department.
- Update documents/logbooks of ETP/STP/MEE/Laboratory/Hazardous Waste as and when required. Environmental Monitoring.
- Prepare schedule / scope for Environmental Monitoring (testing and analysis of samples of Waste Water, Stack Monitoring, Ambient Air / Noise Monitoring).
- Co-ordinate with external agencies for sampling and testing as per schedule / scope and obtain analysis reports.
- Co-ordinate for submission of analysis reports to GPCB and maintain records of the same. New Projects / Modifications w.r.t. EHS Department.
- Co-ordinate for required (budget / management) approvals for new / improvement projects / modifications pertaining to EHS Department.
- Prepare, Review and finalize technical specifications w.r.t. EHS aspects.
- Support for timely execution of projects as per timeline. To conduct Environment GAP assessment and incorporate changes and approve.
- Perform daily plant round, collect round findings and communicate (Mail) to EHS Head/Unit Head.
- Ensure all equipments (ETP/MEE/RO/MVR) run as per standard practice (Env. Act/Air Act/Water Act).
- Ensure to Environment Compliance conditions with solution implementation as per CCA & EC.
- Ensure and play supportive role for functioning the ETP/MEE/RO/MVR as per standard & maintain ZLD.
- Maintain up to date Manufacturing & Environmental data as per Environmental rules and regulation.
- Timely submit the report to SPCB, Environmental Estatement, Monthly report, GPCB/CPCB/MoEF questioners, and consent & authorization condition compliance, Half yearly Environment clearance conditions compliance.
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly report as per management requirement.
- Incident investigation related to environment.
- Time to time monitor and ensoure the compliance as per government notification / rules.
- Pre mansoon prepration for collection of rain water during rainey session.
- Time to time follow the instruction/work as assigned by the management.

Required Qualification: - Diploma/B.E/B.Tech/M.Sc - Chemical/Environment
Salary :- Upto 12.00 LPA
