Job Title: Safety Manager
Location: Vapi
Employment Details:
- Working Day- 6 days a week with Monday Off
Work Hours: 9am-6pm

Role Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Safety Manager to oversee safety protocols, compliance, and ISO standards for our manufacturing operations. This role is critical in maintaining a safe work environment, especially around heavy machinery and pressure vessels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Safety Protocols: Establish and enforce safety policies, procedures, and protocols that align with industry best practices, regulatory standards, and ISO 45001 for occupational health and safety.
- ISO Compliance: Ensure compliance with ISO standards, including ISO 45001, ISO 9001, and other relevant certifications. Conduct regular audits to identify gaps and implement corrective measures.
- Risk Assessment: Perform detailed risk assessments for operations involving heavy machinery and pressure vessels. Identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures.
- Incident Investigation: Lead investigations of workplace accidents or incidents. Document findings and recommend improvements to prevent future occurrences.
- Training and Awareness: Conduct safety training for employees, contractors, and vendors. Maintain a high level of safety awareness and compliance across all levels of the organization.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on relevant local and national safety regulations, and ensure all operations comply with legal standards, including OSHA and industry-specific regulations.
- Emergency Preparedness: Develop, implement, and regularly test emergency response and evacuation procedures. Ensure all personnel are well-prepared for any potential safety incidents.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain detailed records of safety protocols, incidents, audits, and training activities. Provide regular reports to management on safety metrics and areas for improvement.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives in safety practices, aiming to create a zero-harm workplace.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., CSP, ASP) are preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Safety Manager in manufacturing, heavy machinery, or similar industries.
- Proven experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 compliance and audits.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, including OSHA and industry-specific safety standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and influence safety culture at all organizational levels.
