Job Description
Position: Business Development Manager – International Market
Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat (with international travel as required)
Experience Required: Minimum 10 years in pharmaceutical marketing
Preferred Candidate: Male
Language Requirements: Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Spanish, French, or Portuguese is highly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Strategy & Expansion:
• Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for ROW markets, including Africa, Latin America, CIS, Middle East, and ASEAN countries.
• Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence.
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and industry trends.
2. Sales and Business Growth:
• Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals for assigned regions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and channel partners.
• Develop customized solutions to address client needs and ensure high customer satisfaction.
3. Regulatory & Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with country-specific pharmaceutical regulations.
• Oversee the submission and approval of dossiers and regulatory documentation in target markets.
• Stay updated on changes in international regulations and adapt strategies accordingly.
4. Strategic Decision-Making:
• Evaluate market opportunities and risks to make data-driven business decisions.
• Provide detailed forecasts, business plans, and reports to senior management.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including production, regulatory, and logistics, to ensure smooth operations.
5. Leadership & Coordination:
• Mentor and guide team members to achieve their targets.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services.

Skills & Qualifications:

1. Educational Background:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Marketing, or Business Administration (MBA preferred).
2. Experience & Knowledge:
• Minimum 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing in ROW markets.
• Deep understanding of the market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer behavior in Africa, Latin America, CIS, Middle East, and ASEAN countries.
• Strong regulatory knowledge specific to pharmaceutical industries in these markets.
3. Key Competencies:
• Strategic and calculative mindset with excellent decision-making skills.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• High proficiency in market analysis and sales forecasting.
4. Language Proficiency:
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• Knowledge of Spanish, French, or Portuguese will be an added advantage.
5. Preferred Attributes:

• Willingness to travel extensively for business purposes.
