Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:

System Maintenance and Support:
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
- Provide technical support for end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Monitor system performance, ensure backups are running correctly, and assist with disaster recovery.

Network Administration:
- Help manage and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
- Assist with network troubleshooting, diagnostics, and performance optimization.
- Monitor network traffic and security alerts.

User Account Management:
- Assist with creating, modifying, and deleting user accounts and permissions in accordance with company policies.
- Help with password resets and access management for various systems and applications.
- Support multi-factor authentication (MFA) and other security protocols.

Software and Hardware Support:
- Help with the installation and update of software applications, ensuring all systems are running the latest versions and patches.
- Assist with the configuration and setup of workstations, laptops, printers, and other IT-related devices.
- Support hardware upgrades and repairs as necessary.

Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain records of IT assets, software licenses, and maintenance logs.
- Document technical procedures and create knowledge base articles for end-users.
- Assist in generating IT reports, including system performance, support tickets, and inventory tracking.

Security and Compliance:
- Assist in monitoring for security vulnerabilities and help implement security protocols (firewalls, anti-virus software, etc.).
- Help enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
- Participate in periodic security audits and vulnerability assessments.

Collaboration and Training:
- Work closely with other IT team members and departments to coordinate projects and initiatives.
- Provide basic training to end-users on the proper use of systems and software.
- Assist with the setup of new employees' IT workstations and ensure they have the necessary access and tools.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and basic network troubleshooting.
- Experience with hardware and software installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of basic cybersecurity principles.
- Familiarity with cloud services (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, etc.).
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with users and team members.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and stay up-to-date with new technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Active Directory, virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V), and server management.
