Design Engineer
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Product Design and Development:
o Conceptualize, design, and develop new products and components using SolidWorks software.
o Create detailed drawings, 3D models, and specifications for manufacturing.
o Conduct feasibility studies and testing to validate design concepts.
Project Management:
o Manage design projects from concept to production, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
o Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
Technical Analysis and Problem Solving:
o Perform engineering calculations and simulations to verify design integrity.
o Identify and resolve design issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Documentation and Compliance:
o Prepare and maintain design documentation, including technical drawings, reports, and BOMs (Bill of Materials).
o Ensure designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
Continuous Improvement:
o Participate in design reviews and suggest improvements to enhance product performance, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
o Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in design engineering
