Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Sales Leadership:

    • Develop and execute the overall sales strategy for the group to achieve business objectives.
    • Align sales goals with market opportunities across diverse verticals.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify growth opportunities and new market segments.
  2. Team Management:

    • Supervise and provide direction to individual Business Sales Heads, ensuring synergy across verticals.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance across the sales teams.
    • Drive training initiatives to enhance sales capabilities.
  3. Revenue Growth and Market Expansion:

    • Oversee the implementation of sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
    • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, channel partners, and industry influencers.
    • Explore and penetrate new markets to expand the customer base.
  4. Customer Relationship Management:

    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
    • Implement strategies for building long-term relationships with key accounts.
  5. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

    • Establish KPIs for the sales teams and monitor performance against targets.
    • Provide regular reports and updates to the executive team on sales performance, market trends, and competitive analysis.
  6. Cross-Functional Coordination:

    • Work closely with marketing, operations, and product development teams to ensure alignment in strategies.
    • Provide insights to improve product offerings and competitive positioning.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: Minimum 20 years in sales leadership roles within the Road Infrastructure, Construction, or related industries.
  • Industry Expertise: Strong network and proven track record in companies like JCB, Swing Stater, Bharat Bench, NRB, SKF, or similar organizations.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field. MBA/PGDM preferred.
  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional team management and mentoring abilities.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Communication: Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience in managing multi-location and multi-product teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to scale businesses and drive operational efficiency.
  • Innovative approach to identifying sales opportunities and market trends.
