Job Description for Dental Surgeon

Position: Dental Surgeon
Experience: 2 to 3 years
Location: Aurangabad, Maharashtra
Salary Range: ₹20,000 to ₹25,000 per month

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Care:

   • Diagnose and treat oral health issues, including cavities, gum diseases, and tooth injuries.
   • Perform dental procedures like root canals, extractions, crowns, and bridges.
   • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.

2. Surgical Procedures:

   • Conduct minor oral surgeries, if required, adhering to safety protocols.
   • Ensure proper use of sterilization and infection control practices.

3. Diagnostics:

   • Interpret X-rays and other diagnostic tools to plan treatments.
   • Discuss treatment options and plans with patients, addressing their concerns.

4. Collaboration:

   • Work with other dental staff, including hygienists and assistants, to provide comprehensive care.
   • Coordinate with laboratories for prosthetic work.

5. Administrative Duties:

   • Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes.
   • Assist in clinic operations as needed, including inventory and scheduling.

Requirements:

• BDS degree from a recognized institution.
• Valid registration with the Dental Council of India (DCI).
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in clinical dentistry.
• Proficiency in dental procedures and use of relevant equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient-focused approach with attention to detail.
