About the Role

We are looking for a motivated US Accounting Specialist to support financial operations for US-based clients. The role involves handling accounting transactions, reconciliations, reporting, and month-end activities while maintaining accuracy and compliance with international accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

Core Accounting Activities

  • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
  • Perform bank entries and bank reconciliations
  • Book sales and purchase invoices
  • Pass journal entries
  • Support cash management activities

General Ledger & MIS

  • Maintain General Ledger records
  • Prepare and share AR/AP ageing reports
  • Perform Gross Profit (GP) analysis
  • Conduct expense analysis
  • Prepare weekly work status reports in Excel

Reporting & Closing

  • Prepare financial statements for US-based clients
  • Perform balance sheet and account reconciliations
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Prepare and maintain MIS reports

Client Communication

  • Assist in client reporting
  • Maintain documentation accuracy as per client formats
  • Coordinate with internal teams for timely delivery

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification:

  • B.Com / M.Com
  • CA Inter (dropped / appeared )
  • ICWA Inter (Dropped / appeared )

Experience:

  • 6 months to 2 years of International Accounting / US Accounting / KPO Accounting experience

Technical Skills:

  • Strong Excel skills
  • Understanding of accounting fundamentals
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks (preferred but not mandatory)

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Basic understanding of US GAAP concepts
  • Exposure to outsourcing/KPO environment
  • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills
  • Good written communication skills
  • Ability to work with deadlines
