JOB SUMMARY
A senior electrical maintenance engineer is responsible for a range of tasks, including:
- Project management: Managing the design and construction phases of a project
- Electrical safety: Designing modifications and improvements to equipment and facilities
- Preventive maintenance: Developing, documenting, and improving programs
- Equipment failures: Providing technical support and troubleshooting
- Downtime: Assisting maintenance and providing technical guidance
- Maintenance practices: Keeping up with contemporary technology and maintenance practices
- Breakdown hours: Tracking and analyzing breakdown hours for critical and standby equipment
- Incident reporting: Reporting incidents and accidents in the prescribed format
- PPE compliance: Ensuring PPE compliance in the area of operation
- Machine availability: Coordinating with production personnel for machine availability
