Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Sales Executive to join our team in the building materials sector. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in sales, preferably in the construction or building materials industry, and will be responsible for driving sales in East India.
Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and target new business opportunities in the building materials market across East India.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients (contractors, distributors, dealers, and retailers).
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the growth of the company’s market share in the region.

Product Knowledge & Promotion:
- Stay updated with the company’s products, services, and market trends to effectively communicate and demonstrate the value to customers.
- Promote and demonstrate the company’s product offerings to clients in a professional manner.

Market Research:
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitor activity, and potential sales opportunities.
- Provide feedback on customer requirements, market trends, and competitor strategies to the sales and marketing teams.

Customer Support and Service:
- Address customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Provide after-sales support, including product delivery, follow-up, and troubleshooting.

Travel and Territory Management:
- Regularly travel across East India to meet clients, understand local market needs, and build relationships.
- Plan and organize travel schedules to ensure effective coverage of assigned territories.

Sales Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline management.
- Submit regular sales reports, detailing progress, challenges, and opportunities in the region.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience in the building materials, construction, or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of the building materials market and its key players in East India is a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales and customer service.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively within East India.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel by road, train, or air as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate in any stream (preferably Engineering or Business-related fields).
- Experience in dealing with building contractors, architects, and suppliers is highly desirable.
