Job Description:

Position:          Asst. Manager - Continuous Improvement

Location:         Daman

Experience:      8 - 10 Years

Industries:       FMCG

Responsibilities:

  • Drive lean manufacturing initiatives focusing on plant productivity improvement and stock rotation's management. In line with this, develop lean administration and product development process focused initiatives.
  • Ensures consistent compliance with Home Care Production processes and standards, inclusion 5S, TPM and visual management tools across areas.
  • Leads daily meetings with the staff responsible for the implementation of Lean techniques.
  • Measure and monitor manufacturing enterprise KPIs improvements trends in order ensure improvements sustainability.
  • Leads Lean techniques' improvement activities and workshops.
  • Deliver action plans for pragmatic roll-out of Home Care Production System & tools (i.e.: VSM; SMED; Kanban; Hejnunka) with relative risk management approach.
  • Promote, support and coordinate Kaizen Events ensuring event objectives are consistent with overall site planning.
  • Ensures the Lean principles knowledge is shared across all involved organization levels.
  • Drives cultural change towards a lean organization.
  • Lean management principles and tools' implementation expertise (Kaizen, Kanban, 5S, SMED, TPM and problem solving)
  • Process analysis and improvement expertise (value stream mapping & business process mapping)
  • Manufacturing processes review and improvement analysis
  • Solid knowledge of VSM, 5S, Standard Work, VM, Line balancing, Problem Solving, Kaizen workshop management.
  • TPM,SMED

Required Skills:

  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Proven capability to communicate with any relevant stakeholder, both at business leadership and shop-floor level
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Solid planning capabilities
  • Fluent English is a prerequisite.
  • Good proficiency of a second European language is preferable
  • Good modern ERP systems proficiency (SAP) is a plus

 

Required Qualification: - B.E/B.Tech - Any

Salary :- Upto 12.00 LPA
