Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Field Sales Executive with in-depth knowledge of agricultural products. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sales experience, particularly in the regions of Bengal, Bihar, and Odisha. You will be responsible for driving sales growth by engaging with new and existing customers in the agricultural sector, ensuring excellent service delivery, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Generation: Identify, prospect, and target potential customers (farmers, retailers, agro-dealers, etc.) within assigned regions (Bengal, Bihar, Odisha).
- Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a strong understanding of agricultural products such as Agricultural Sprayers, Separator Machines, Rice Husker Machines, Rice Polisher Machines, Paddy Cleaner Machines, etc.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, understanding their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Market Analysis: Track and analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities and increase market share.
- Sales Targets: Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets set by management.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and market intelligence, providing regular reports to the sales manager.
- Customer Support: Provide ongoing support to clients by offering product recommendations, solving product-related queries, and ensuring timely deliveries.
- Promotional Activities: Participate in agricultural fairs, trade shows, and other events to promote products and increase brand awareness.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and supply chain teams to ensure smooth execution of sales strategies and timely deliveries.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in field sales, preferably in the agricultural products sector (seeds, fertilizers, crop protection products).
- Regional Knowledge: Familiarity with the agricultural landscape in Bengal, Bihar, and Odisha, including an understanding of local farming practices and key customer needs.
- Strong Sales Skills: Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets and the ability to negotiate and close deals.
- Product Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of agricultural products, including crop protection chemicals, fertilizers, seeds, and other related products.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport and influence customers.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and take initiative in pursuing sales opportunities.
- Travel Willingness: Willingness to travel extensively within assigned regions.
