A production executive for HDPE (high-density polyethylene) may have the following responsibilities:
- Production planning: Develop and implement production plans, schedules, and budgets
- Production analysis: Analyze production needs, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions
- Personnel planning: Plan personnel activity, assign tasks, and adjust workflow and schedules
- Quality assurance: Inspect raw materials, maintain quality standards, and conduct in-process quality audits
- Machine handling: Handle testing machines, set parameters and dies, and monitor and troubleshoot processing
- Process modification: Modify compounds and process systems to improve production
- Online process control: Control processes online, check daily production, and provide information to management
