Opening for Production Head for Event & Exhibition Industry at Rabale Navi Mumbai

Job Description 

To possess maximum knowledge with regards to Designing, production & implementation of exhibition and visual merchandising technical production. 

To have sound understanding of exhibition and retail spaces. To take measurements of onsite spaces by Going to the site or organizing the same through other production Personnel depending on the workload.

Should have sound understanding of various materials required to create a best exhibition/retails spaces and other visual merchandising materials. Should possess sound understanding of new age fabrication techniques and knowledge pertaining to different  printing machines and media regularly used in the business. 

Site supervision as & when required for projects

Preparing Mock ups/scale models of drawings as & when required

To help and oversee designer’s work at all times to ensure that their designs are taking practical shapes so that they could be implemented in reality.

To work closely and explain all drawings to production workers and to maintain a strict control over quality and also to ensure timely production of all projects.

To inform operation teams on overall time schedule of project implementation on site and also to ensure that projects have been executed well within the desired timeframes.

Responsible for all production decision so as to ensure projects are executed in a cost effective and productive manner to avoid unnecessary contingencies so as to increase profitability of the company.          

Technical support to all staff on various projects

To provide practical solutions with regards to implementation of  drawings and overall project brief/requirement

Coordinating with operation teams to ensure smooth distribution of labor on projects.

Coordination with external vendors to ensure all orders placed are delivered on time. Also to explain drawing in detail to vendors so as to ensure that there are no mistakes or duplication of orders placed.

Sound Understanding of 2D & 3D drawings & Auto Cad drawings. Preparing Production details as and when required.

Understanding core strengths of in-house labors, carpenters painters pasters and other handy men through observation and through work relationships, accordingly advising operation teams on allocating the right candidate for a particular project.

Making 3D, isometric drawing and assembly drawing as and when required by hand or rough sketches so that the same could be explained to the head carpenter on the spot so that we save valuable time and ensure swift production.

Constant R&D on new materials surface finishes, paints, adhesives, wall paper, laminates, PVC, so as to optimize on production and to ensure our products are unique & up to date with market trends. Also, to constantly place orders for new sample materials and to update the material room with the same accordingly.

To ensure that a project is executed within a particular time frame & should not exceed that time frame so that over times are saved on a project and so that a control overworking is observed by operations.

To be well versed with foreign market materials such as portable platforms, system installations, modular structures, to reduce onsite time/labor.
