Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supply Chain Management: Coordinate and manage end-to-end supply chain processes, from procurement to final delivery, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels to avoid stockouts and overstock situations, ensuring that the right products are available when needed.
  • Procurement: Assist in sourcing materials, negotiating contracts with suppliers, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods.
  • Logistics Coordination: Oversee the transportation and distribution of goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries.
  • Vendor Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring high-quality standards, competitive pricing, and reliable delivery schedules.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze supply chain data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order fulfillment, lead times, and cost efficiency.
  • Cost Optimization: Identify and implement strategies to reduce supply chain costs, improve efficiency, and increase profitability.
  • Risk Management: Monitor supply chain risks and disruptions, developing contingency plans to mitigate any potential issues.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies related to transportation, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments (such as sales, marketing, and finance) to ensure alignment of supply chain activities with business objectives.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely order fulfillment and handling any supply chain-related issues that arise.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 2-5 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or a related area.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, and logistics systems.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external vendors.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly identify problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail in managing inventory, processing orders, and monitoring logistics.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
