Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Sales Executive with extensive experience in the plastic and flexible packaging industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities in the sector. This role demands strong industry knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to meet sales targets effectively.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development:

    • Generate new leads and expand the customer base within the plastic and flexible packaging market.
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
    • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Client Management:

    • Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions.
    • Manage key accounts, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
    • Offer post-sales support and address any issues promptly to maintain strong customer loyalty.
  • Market Research & Analysis:

    • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the plastic and flexible packaging industry.
    • Keep abreast of competitor activities and market conditions to adjust sales tactics accordingly.
  • Sales Reporting & Documentation:

    • Prepare and maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and documentation.
    • Present sales progress and results to senior management.
  • Negotiation & Closing Sales:

    • Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to close sales deals effectively.
    • Ensure timely delivery of products and services as per the contract.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Educational Qualification:

    • A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. A technical qualification in packaging or plastics is a plus.
  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in sales within the plastic and flexible packaging industry.
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Technical Knowledge:

    • Strong understanding of plastic products, packaging solutions, and the flexible packaging market.
  • Communication Skills:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and negotiate at all levels.
  • Customer-Focused:

    • A customer-centric approach with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-Motivated & Target-Oriented:

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives.
  • Other Skills:

    • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
