Job Title: Sales Executive – Retail and Design Services
Salary Range: 18,000 - 20,000 INR

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling retail walk-in customers, as well as working closely with Interior Designers and Architects to manage the entire sales process. This includes product selection, generating quotations, following up with customers, and ensuring timely payment collection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with walk-in retail customers to understand their needs and recommend products in the building materials industry.
  • Work closely with Interior Designers and Architects, providing end-to-end support from product selection to closing the sales order.
  • Create product selections and quotations using the company’s software and Excel.
  • Follow up with customers, interior designers, and architects to ensure sales closure and maintain strong relationships.
  • Handle payment follow-ups and ensure all dues are cleared promptly.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally to avoid any fake commitments and ensure smooth sales operations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and maintain a positive, cooperative working environment.
  • Provide product knowledge to customers and design professionals, ensuring they are well-informed.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales orders, and follow-ups.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of the building materials industry is preferred. (Training will be provided for those with basic understanding)
  • Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Basic mathematical and calculation skills for generating quotations.
  • Good proficiency in using software for product selection and creating quotations (Excel skills required).
  • Strong follow-up and negotiation skills to close deals effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and maintain healthy relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality service.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven attitude.

Additional Information:

  • Experience: Previous experience in sales, retail, or customer service is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Training: Training will be provided for industry-specific product knowledge and software tools.
