Job Description:

Position:        Asst. Manager - Import/Export Operation

Location:       Jodhpur

Experience:    8 - 10 Years

Industries:     Chemical

Responsibilities:

  • Import & Export Management:
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of international trade operations, including documentation, compliance with global trade regulations, and coordination with logistics partners.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective shipment of goods while maintaining high-quality service standards.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with international customers to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Proactively address customer queries, provide updates on shipments, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • International Business Development:
  • Travel internationally to identify and engage prospective clients and vendors.
  • Present company products and services effectively to convert potential leads into active customers or suppliers.
  • Market Analysis & Strategy:
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the global mineral trade.
  • Develop strategies to expand the company’s presence in untapped international markets.
  • Vendor Management:
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard international vendors to optimize the supply chain and sourcing processes.
  • Ensure mutually beneficial agreements with vendors while maintaining compliance with international trade laws.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
  • Stay updated on import/export regulations, trade agreements, and customs requirements for different countries.
  • Ensure all operations are compliant with legal and ethical standards.
  • Identifying and establishing relationships with international suppliers.
  • Evaluating supplier capabilities and pricing.
  • Negotiating contracts to optimize costs.
  • Import of products, coordinating logistics & delivery at customer along with import clearance, and managing compliance documentation.
  • Monitoring supplier performance, staying updated on market trends and regulatory changes, and mitigating potential risks in the sourcing process.

Required Skills :

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong understanding of global trade dynamics.
  • Proficient in Liaison, negotiation and presentation techniques.
  • Ability to learn and convey technical product details.

Required Qualification: - Any Graduate

Salary :- Upto 6.00 LPA
