Job Description:
A Fitter installs, maintains, and repairs industrial machinery and structural components, ensuring equipment operates efficiently according to technical specifications. Key responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, using precision tools to cut, shape, and fit metal parts, and performing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly and Installation: Assemble, install, and align machinery and metal parts based on blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine, preventive maintenance and repair malfunctioning machinery, including replacing broken parts.
- Fabrication:
Cut, shape, and weld metal components using tools like hacksaws, hammers, and welding equipment.
- Inspection and Testing: Conduct diagnostic tests, inspect fabricated parts for accuracy, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Technical Interpretation: Read technical diagrams and schematics to understand project requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education/Training: ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certification or completed apprenticeship in fitting/machinery.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with hand and power tools, measuring instruments, and welding techniques.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret engineering drawings and 3D models.
- Physical Ability: Strong physical stamina and manual dexterity.
- Safety Conscious: Strict adherence to safety protocols and procedures.

- Mechanical Fitter: Focuses on assembling and maintaining complex mechanical systems.
