Job Description:

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and certified Safety Officer to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate must possess a strong background in safety management, specifically in industrial or construction environments, and have relevant certifications. The Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment, implementing safety policies, and complying with health and safety regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Identify potential hazards and take appropriate corrective actions to mitigate risks.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor safety programs and procedures.
  • Conduct safety training for workers and staff, ensuring they are familiar with safety protocols.
  • Ensure that safety equipment is maintained, operational, and properly used on-site.
  • Investigate accidents or incidents and provide reports with recommendations for preventive actions.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry best practices for safety management.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure safety measures are integrated into all aspects of the work.
  • Maintain safety records and reports in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in safety audits and inspections by external authorities.

Key Requirements:

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.
  • Certifications:
    • IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety and Health) Certification.
    • NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health) Certification.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in safety management, preferably in the industrial, construction, or oil & gas sector.
  • Aramco Approval: Must be Aramco approved as a safety professional.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
    • Ability to train and guide employees on safety procedures and standards.
  • Location: This position is based in Saudi Arabia, and the candidate must be willing to relocate.
