Product Development Manager

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting market research and analyse trends to identify opportunities.
• Leading and coordinating cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Developing and planning a product roadmap aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
• Overseeing the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch, including ideation, prototyping, testing, and production.
• Ensuring product designs meet quality, durability, and usability standards.
• Partnering with sourcing and procurement teams to identify and manage suppliers and manufacturers.
• Developing and managing project timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Managing stakeholder communication, providing regular updates on product progress and milestones.
• Business development and category management.

 Qualification

• Master Degree in Product Design and Development
• Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in the houseware industry, with a minimum of 10 years in new product development.
• Stay updated on emerging materials, technologies, and market trends in the houseware industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Customer-oriented mindset and ability to build strong relationships
• Flexibility and adaptability to different cultures and environments
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., CAD) and familiarity with manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of insulation, injection moulding, paint, printing (foil, hot stamp, pad, screen), plastic and steel.
