Job Description:
  1. Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with corporate clients.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and respond to their banking needs and concerns.
    • Regularly meet with clients to understand their business requirements and identify opportunities for new banking solutions.
  2. Product & Service Sales:
    • Drive the sales of corporate liability products such as current accounts, term deposits, overdrafts, trade finance, and treasury solutions.
    • Promote cross-selling opportunities of other banking products like cash management, business loans, and foreign exchange services.
  3. Business Development:
    • Identify and target new corporate clients to expand the banks liability book.
    • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and strategic business opportunities.
    • Organize and attend networking events and industry forums to build the bank’s presence in the corporate sector.
  4. Client Portfolio Management:
    • Regularly review the performance of corporate accounts, ensuring that the clients’ needs are met and relationships remain productive.
    • Provide solutions to improve client satisfaction, address any issues, and ensure the smooth operation of client accounts.
  5. Credit & Risk Management:
    • Work closely with the credit and risk departments to ensure compliance with the bank’s credit policies and procedures.
    • Support clients in the preparation of financial documents required for credit evaluations.
    • Ensure that all transactions and accounts are processed in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  6. Target Achievement & Reporting:
    • Meet or exceed sales and revenue targets related to corporate liability products.
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on performance, client interactions, and market opportunities to senior management.
  7. Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with internal teams such as corporate relationship managers, credit analysts, and operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that client requirements are met efficiently.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of corporate banking products and services, particularly liability products.
  • Excellent relationship-building and client servicing skills.
  • Proven ability to acquire new business and cross-sell banking products.
  • Analytical skills to understand clients’ financial needs and tailor appropriate solutions.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations, banking compliance, and risk management.
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
