Job Description:
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with corporate clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and respond to their banking needs and concerns.
- Regularly meet with clients to understand their business requirements and identify opportunities for new banking solutions.
- Product & Service Sales:
- Drive the sales of corporate liability products such as current accounts, term deposits, overdrafts, trade finance, and treasury solutions.
- Promote cross-selling opportunities of other banking products like cash management, business loans, and foreign exchange services.
- Business Development:
- Identify and target new corporate clients to expand the banks liability book.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and strategic business opportunities.
- Organize and attend networking events and industry forums to build the bank’s presence in the corporate sector.
- Client Portfolio Management:
- Regularly review the performance of corporate accounts, ensuring that the clients’ needs are met and relationships remain productive.
- Provide solutions to improve client satisfaction, address any issues, and ensure the smooth operation of client accounts.
- Credit & Risk Management:
- Work closely with the credit and risk departments to ensure compliance with the bank’s credit policies and procedures.
- Support clients in the preparation of financial documents required for credit evaluations.
- Ensure that all transactions and accounts are processed in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Target Achievement & Reporting:
- Meet or exceed sales and revenue targets related to corporate liability products.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on performance, client interactions, and market opportunities to senior management.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams such as corporate relationship managers, credit analysts, and operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that client requirements are met efficiently.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of corporate banking products and services, particularly liability products.
- Excellent relationship-building and client servicing skills.
- Proven ability to acquire new business and cross-sell banking products.
- Analytical skills to understand clients’ financial needs and tailor appropriate solutions.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of financial regulations, banking compliance, and risk management.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
