Job Title: Project Engineer - Mechanical
Location: Jubail, KSA
Department: Engineering / Project Management
Job Type: Full-time

Working Hours: 10 Hours

Salary Range: Basic SAR 7,000 to 9,000+ FAT (Food Allowance, Transportation, etc.)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Job Purpose:

The Project Engineer - Mechanical is responsible for managing and overseeing mechanical engineering activities related to pipeline projects, ensuring timely and quality execution in accordance with project specifications, client requirements (particularly ARAMCO), and industry standards. This role involves coordinating engineering, procurement, and construction efforts, while supervising technical teams to ensure successful project delivery in the Oil & Gas sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage mechanical engineering activities for pipeline projects from inception to completion.
  • Ensure compliance with technical specifications, client requirements (especially ARAMCO standards), and industry best practices.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure timely execution and delivery of the project.
  • Supervise the preparation of mechanical design calculations, technical specifications, and drawings for pipeline systems.
  • Review and approve mechanical designs and documentation to ensure quality and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Manage and monitor the mechanical scope of work, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and technical specifications.
  • Interface with clients, contractors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues and ensure project milestones are met.
  • Ensure mechanical systems and components are installed, tested, and commissioned according to quality and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Report on project progress, technical issues, and performance to senior management.
  • Ensure all mechanical-related documentation is accurately completed and stored, including design reports, test records, and inspection logs.
  • Prepare and review project reports, including progress reports, risk assessments, and change orders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Engineering Graduate (Bachelor’s Degree) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering with a focus on pipeline projects.
    • At least 3 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, specifically with ARAMCO projects or any EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects in the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Certifications & Training:
    • Relevant engineering certifications are a plus.
    • Familiarity with ARAMCO standards and codes is highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of pipeline engineering, design, and construction methodologies.
  • In-depth understanding of mechanical systems, equipment, and materials used in the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, design software, and related engineering applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, contractors, and teams effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and technical troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail, especially when reviewing designs and technical documentation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Working Hours:

  • 10 hours per day.

Compensation:

  • Basic Salary: 7,000 to 9,000 (depending on experience and qualifications).
  • FAT (Field Allowance): As applicable.
