Location: Saudi Arabia

Experience: 6 Years

Salary: 4,000 - 6,000 SAR/Month Basic + FAT (Food, Accommodation, Transportation)

Job Description:
The Procurement Officer/Engineer will oversee and manage all procurement activities, ensuring the timely acquisition of materials, equipment, and services in compliance with company policies and standards. This role requires expertise in the Aramco procurement process, excellent negotiation skills, and a solid understanding of engineering principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and execute procurement processes in accordance with Aramco’s guidelines and requirements.

Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.

Prepare and issue Requests for Quotations (RFQs), Purchase Orders (POs), and contracts.

Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers.

Coordinate with project managers and engineers to ensure procurement aligns with project needs and timelines.

Monitor supplier performance and maintain a database of qualified vendors.

Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing agreements with suppliers to optimize cost efficiency.

Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, standards, and legal regulations.

Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including reports, for audit and compliance purposes.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related field preferred).

A minimum of 6 years of experience in procurement, ideally within the oil and gas or construction sectors.

Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the Aramco procurement process.

Proficiency in procurement software and tools.

Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

Familiarity with relevant local and international procurement regulations.
