Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Precast Engineer to join our team. As a Precast Engineer, you

will be responsible for the design, production, and quality control of precast concrete elements used in various

construction projects. You will collaborate with project managers, designers, contractors, and construction

teams to ensure that the precast concrete components are manufactured, assembled, and installed according

to specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Engineering:

o Develop detailed design plans and structural drawings for precast concrete structure elements

(e.g., beams, panels, columns, slabs) & Concrete precast decorative items (e.g. Benches,

Planters, artefacts & other small articles)

o Work with the design team to ensure compliance with relevant building codes, industry

standards, and safety regulations.

o Conduct structural analysis and calculations to ensure the stability and durability of precast

components.

Production and Manufacturing:

o Oversee the manufacturing process of precast concrete elements to ensure they meet design

specifications, quality standards, and project deadlines.

o Collaborate with production teams to optimize processes for cost efficiency and quality

control.

o Provide technical support and troubleshooting during the manufacturing process, ensuring any

issues are resolved promptly.

Quality Control and Compliance:

o Perform regular inspections and tests to ensure precast components meet required

specifications and quality standards.

o Maintain detailed records of inspections, testing, and compliance with safety regulations.

o Implement improvements to production techniques and ensure compliance with

environmental and safety regulations.

Site Support and Coordination:

o Provide technical support during the installation of precast concrete elements on-site, ensuring

they are safely and correctly positioned.

o Collaborate with contractors and construction teams to resolve any site-specific issues.

o Review project schedules and coordinate with the project team to ensure timely delivery and

installation of precast components.

Project Management:

o Assist in the preparation of project budgets and schedules, ensuring adherence to timelines

and cost estimates.

o Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide updates on project progress

and resolve any issues.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience in precast concrete design, engineering, and manufacturing (3-5 years preferred).

Strong knowledge of construction materials, structural analysis, and relevant codes and standards (e.g.,

IS code, MoRTH, etc).

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and structural analysis tools shall be an added

advantage.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Knowledge of construction project management and site coordination is a plus.

Certification or membership in professional organizations (e.g., ASCE, ACI) is an advantage.

Pre-requisites:

• Willing to relocate to Ahmedabad

• Ready to travel in and out of Ahmedabad, as and when business demands.

• Looking for long-term partnership and stability to work with an organization

• Should have a valid driving license and his own 2-wheeler to travel in market
