Tech lead & PM

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Tech Lead with a strong background in React and Next.js development to lead a dynamic team of developers. In this role, you will be responsible for the technical architecture, project management, and code quality of React and Next.js applications. As a Tech Lead, you will ensure that all technical milestones are achieved while providing guidance to junior and senior developers, ensuring effective collaboration, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Mentorship:

   • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of frontend and full-stack developers.
   • Provide technical guidance and support to junior and mid-level developers.
   • Conduct code reviews to maintain high code quality, consistency, and best practices.
   • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning within the team.

2. Project Management:

   • Coordinate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define project requirements, timelines, and milestones.
   • Develop project plans, ensuring the team adheres to deadlines and delivers high-quality features.
   • Track the progress of the development cycle, identifying and mitigating risks that may impact project timelines.
   • Ensure proper documentation of technical decisions and processes for future reference.

3. Technical Leadership:

   • Architect and develop scalable, maintainable, and high-performance React and Next.js applications.
   • Make key technical decisions regarding system architecture, libraries, and tools.
   • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate the frontend with APIs and backend services.
   • Ensure that the team follows best practices for testing, version control, and CI/CD.

4. Collaboration and Communication:

   • Act as the bridge between the technical team and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of technical concepts and project progress.
   • Collaborate with product and design teams to define user-centric features and user interfaces.
   • Present technical updates and demos to stakeholders, providing insights into challenges and solutions.

5. Continuous Improvement:

   • Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in React, Next.js, JavaScript, and related technologies.
   • Encourage the adoption of new tools, frameworks, and techniques to improve productivity and the overall quality of the product.
   • Conduct retrospectives and post-mortems to improve team processes and workflows.
