Job Description:
Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Manager (BDM) for our
Business Loans product. The role will involve identifying new business opportunities,
building strong relationships with clients, and driving growth in the business loan segment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, business development, and a deep
understanding of the business loan market. The BDM will be responsible for achieving sales
targets, managing the entire loan lifecycle, and contributing to the expansion of the business
loan portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
o Identify and acquire new clients for business loans by generating leads,
networking, and leveraging industry connections.
o Develop and implement strategies to promote business loans and achieve sales
targets.
o Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to identify new
business opportunities.
o Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, ensuring a high
conversion rate and strong client satisfaction.
Client Relationship Management:
o Manage relationships with existing clients to ensure their continued
satisfaction and retention.
o Offer tailored business loan solutions to meet the financial needs of clients.
o Provide exceptional customer service by responding to client inquiries,
resolving concerns, and ensuring smooth loan processing.
Loan Process Management:
o Oversee the entire loan application process, ensuring all necessary
documentation is submitted and processed in a timely manner.
o Work closely with internal credit and risk teams to assess and approve
business loan applications.
o Ensure compliance with all internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk
management guidelines during the loan lifecycle.
Achieving Sales Targets:
o Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for business loans.
o Monitor sales performance, track progress towards targets, and take corrective
actions as needed.
o Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell other financial products to
increase revenue.
Networking & Market Presence:o Attend industry events, seminars, and networking opportunities to promote the
bank's business loan products.
o Build strong relationships with external partners, such as brokers, agents, and
other financial institutions, to generate leads and increase business.
Reporting & Documentation:
o Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, detailing
performance, market trends, and business opportunities.
o Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, loan
applications, and sales activities.
