Job Description: Unit Head – Ropes, Nets & Cordages Industry

Location: Jalna
CTC: ₹18 LPA to ₹20 LPA
Experience Required: 8–10 years

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations Management:

   • Oversee the entire unit's production operations for ropes, nets, and cordages to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
   • Plan, organize, and control manufacturing processes to achieve production targets.
   • Drive quality improvement initiatives to maintain product standards.

2. Manpower Management:

   • Lead a workforce of approximately 200 laborers, including supervisors and other staff.
   • Monitor daily labor productivity and ensure optimum workforce utilization.
   • Foster a safe and efficient working environment by implementing best practices.

3. Strategic Planning & Execution:

   • Develop and execute strategies to improve production efficiency and reduce downtime.
   • Plan resources, raw material procurement, and manage supply chain logistics to meet production demands.
   • Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.

4. Team Leadership & Development:

   • Build and lead a motivated team through effective communication and training programs.
   • Resolve conflicts and address employee grievances in a timely manner.
   • Regularly review performance metrics of staff and implement measures for skill enhancement.

5. Compliance & Safety:

   • Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to manufacturing and labor.
   • Maintain compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
   • Conduct safety audits and risk assessments to ensure a hazard-free work environment.

6. Reporting & Coordination:

   • Regularly report operational metrics and updates to senior management.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, sales, and procurement, to align production with business goals.
   • Address and troubleshoot production challenges promptly.
