Sr. Executive - Tax & Accounts

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Taxation & Compliance:

   • Manage and oversee Income Tax, GST, and TDS compliance and filings.
   • Handle tax assessments, audits, and liaise with tax authorities when required.
   • Ensure timely preparation and submission of tax returns and other statutory reports.

2. Accounting & Finalization:

   • Oversee the finalization of books of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
   • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including Profit & Loss accounts, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.
   • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.

3. Audit Coordination:

   • Collaborate with internal and statutory auditors for seamless audit processes.
   • Ensure proper documentation and records are maintained for audit purposes.

4. Financial Reporting:

   • Generate periodic MIS reports to support management decision-making.
   • Support in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

5. Process Improvement:

   • Identify opportunities for improving tax and accounting processes to enhance efficiency and compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP) and MS Office, especially Excel.
• In-depth knowledge of Income Tax, GST, and TDS regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
