Job Description:

 

Job Summary: We are looking for the right candidate to fit in the role of compensation and benefits manager and payroll management  with relevant experience. In this role you will be responsible for overlooking ‘employee pay satisfaction as a metric and payroll management for the company at corporate office level. You will be responsible for providing guidance and expertise on key compensation and benefits matters for the Group, and collaborate with Finance, HR, legal and Business Leaders to ensure that compensation and benefits programs align with Group strategy and key business initiatives.

Key Role & Responsibilities:

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Conduct analyses of jobs, salaries, and incentives to evaluate internal equality, external competitiveness, and legal compliance of the organization’s pay practices.
  • Assist in the development of compensation and incentive programs and the administration of performance review or merit-rating programs across the organization.
  • Review salary increases for compliance with organization policy and budget. Assists in the implementation and delivery of various Compensation and HR projects including performance management, monthly reporting, etc.
  • Collect and analyze data to determine appropriate grade level and title for proposed new jobs and re-evaluations of current jobs.
  • Conduct market analyses to identify competitive practices and trends in specific geographic areas where the company has a significant presence.
  • Assists in the development, enhancement, and implementation of Compensation & Benefits surveys and other salary benchmarking exercises.
  • Participate in compensation and benefits surveys, analyse competitor’s and industry data and advise management for update and changes in compensation and benefit as may require to attract and retain the talent.

Payroll Management:

  • Timely payroll and benefits processing, ensuring that transactions are delivered to deadline and in accordance with regulations, policies and procedures including payroll related compliances.
  • Maintains compensation databases and ensures employment records are properly maintained in the system and ensure confidentiality of the same.
  • Reviews payroll reports for accuracy and makes adjustments as necessary.
  • Serves as a point of contact for employees and management with payroll or benefits questions, including internal and compliance requirements.
  • Provide support to HRIS (Human Resources Information System) team in the compilation, analysis, and delivery of reports. Prepares a variety of scheduled and ad hoc MIS reports for analysis.

Qualification, Experience & Skills :

  • MBA in HR with minimum of 10-15 years of experience in a role related to the delivery of compensation and benefits, and payroll processing with fair knowledge of India compensation market and labor laws.
  • Must have practical experience with payroll systems, practices and procedures.
  • Excellent knowledge in providing analysis on salary, incentives, reward and recognition programs, benchmarking and survey analysis, job evaluation, and job pricing.
  • Must have a high degree of computer literacy; working knowledge of an ERP system & Ms Excel- prefer the ability to perform V-lookups, create pivot tables and databases, formulate cells within spreadsheets.
  • Strong HRMS technical skills as demonstrated by the ability to generate and analyze various reports using Excel and other reporting tools.
  • Attention to detail, analytical/reasoning, interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills,
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated competency to interact with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to maintain and manage information of a confidential or sensitive nature.
