About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Executive to spearhead client acquisition and foster business growth within the Canadian market. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in lead generation, client acquisition, and relationship management within the staffing or IT industries. This remote position offers flexibility and an opportunity to play a pivotal role in expanding our presence in Canada.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Acquisition:
Identify and acquire new clients within the Canadian market, focusing on staffing and IT services.
Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers across various organizations.
- Lead Generation:
Conduct research, leverage networks, and engage in cold calling to proactively generate and qualify leads.
Convert qualified leads into tangible business opportunities.
- Sales Strategy:
Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
Emphasize long-term client relationships and sustainable business growth.
- Market Research:
Perform detailed research on the Canadian staffing and IT markets, identifying potential clients, competitors, and emerging trends.
- Client Engagement:
Maintain regular communication and provide exceptional support to clients to ensure satisfaction.
Serve as a trusted advisor, addressing client needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams (sales, recruitment, and delivery) to streamline onboarding and ensure high-quality service delivery.
Requirements
- Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in business development targeting the Canadian market, specifically within the staffing or IT industries.
- Market Knowledge:
Strong understanding of the Canadian staffing and IT landscapes.
Familiarity with client requirements, cultural nuances, and business practices in Canada.
- Communication Skills:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to present ideas effectively to senior executives and foster professional relationships.
- Self-Motivation:
Capability to work independently in a remote environment.
Strong time-management and prioritization skills.
- Tech Proficiency:
Proficiency in CRM software, lead generation tools, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Location & Flexibility:
Remote position based in India.
Willingness to adapt to Canadian working hours when necessary.
