Production Engineer - Assembly Job

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Planning and Execution

   • Plan, manage, and oversee assembly processes to meet production schedules.
   • Ensure optimal utilization of resources, including manpower, machines, and materials.
   • Monitor production KPIs (key performance indicators) like cycle time, output, and efficiency.

2. Quality Control

   • Ensure that assembly processes meet quality standards and specifications.
   • Identify and resolve quality issues during the production process.
   • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

3. Process Optimization

   • Evaluate assembly processes to identify areas for improvement.
   • Develop and implement innovative solutions to reduce costs and improve productivity.
   • Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for assembly lines.

4. Technical Support

   • Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to ensure smooth integration of new products.
   • Provide technical guidance to the production team on complex assembly tasks.
   • Troubleshoot technical problems on the shop floor.

5. Safety and Compliance

   • Ensure adherence to workplace safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
   • Train staff on safety practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.

6. Team Management

   • Lead and motivate assembly teams to achieve production goals.
   • Conduct performance reviews and recommend training programs for team members.
   • Resolve conflicts and ensure a positive working environment.
