Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting and financial tasks specific to the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of project-based accounting, vendor management, and GST compliance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain day-to-day accounting records (Journal, Ledger, Cash/Bank books).

  • Process and manage invoices related to subcontractors, material suppliers, and service vendors.

  • Track project-wise expenditures and ensure accurate cost allocation.

  • Assist in preparing budgets, cost estimates, and forecasts for construction projects.

  • Handle petty cash and project site-related expenses.

  • Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and inter-company transactions.

  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations (GST, TDS, etc.).

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly MIS reports.

  • Coordinate with project managers and site accountants to collect and validate financial data.

  • Assist in internal and external audits.

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.

  • Use accounting software like Tally, SAP, or ERP systems specific to the construction industry.


Key Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and construction project accounting.

  • Experience in GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.

  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally ERP, SAP, MS Excel).

  • Good communication and coordination skills.

  • Attention to detail and time management.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent).

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sector.
