Job Description: Accounts Executive ( Site)

Position Summary
The Accounts & Billing Assistant is responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely invoicing and payment processing. This role supports the finance and accounting team by handling daily bookkeeping, reconciliations, and billing operations to ensure efficient financial management and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Billing and Invoicing
    • Prepare and issue invoices to clients in a timely manner.
    • Verify accuracy of billing data, including contracts, pricing, and terms.
    • Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to client inquiries.
  2. Accounts Management
    • Maintain and update accounts receivable and payable records.
    • Monitor and reconcile bank statements.
    • Assist in processing payments, ensuring proper documentation and approval.
  3. Data Entry and Record Keeping
    • Accurately input financial data into the accounting system.
    • Maintain organized and secure records of financial transactions.
    • Generate financial reports and summaries as needed.
  4. Reconciliation and Reporting
    • Reconcile vendor and customer accounts on a regular basis.
    • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
    • Provide support for audits and compliance checks.
  5. Communication and Coordination
    • Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams regarding payments and billing issues.
    • Coordinate with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies.
    • Address queries and follow up on overdue accounts.
  6. Compliance and Documentation
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and accounting standards.
    • Prepare and submit GST, TDS, or other applicable tax filings.
