Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to design, plan, and oversee construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering principles, project management, and construction methodologies to ensure project success while maintaining quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Design and Planning

   • Develop detailed designs, layouts, and specifications for construction projects.
   • Conduct feasibility studies, site inspections, and risk assessments.
   • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to finalize project requirements.

2. Construction Oversight

   • Supervise on-site activities to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
   • Monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to project timelines.
   • Resolve technical issues and provide innovative solutions when challenges arise.

3. Budget and Resource Management

   • Prepare cost estimates and manage budgets effectively.
   • Optimize resource allocation, including labor, materials, and equipment.

4. Documentation and Reporting

   • Maintain detailed project documentation, including reports, schedules, and contracts.
   • Present regular updates to stakeholders regarding project status and milestones.

5. Compliance and Safety

   • Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
   • Promote and implement best practices in environmental sustainability.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience:  1 to 10 years of experience in civil engineering or construction management.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
  • Strong understanding of structural analysis, surveying, and geotechnical principles.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to manage teams effectively.
